Refund policy
At Serendipity Muses, each piece is chosen or crafted with care and intention.
For reasons of hygiene, freshness, and the small-batch nature of our offerings, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been placed, except where required by law.
✦ Non-Returnable Items
Please note that the following categories are non-returnable and non-refundable:
Skincare, body care, and wellness products
Supplements, teas, and edible goods
Oils, balms, and aromatherapy products
Beauty tools and accessories used on the skin or hair
Custom, artisan, or limited-edition items
These products cannot be restocked or resold once opened or handled, to preserve purity and safety.
✦ Returns (EU Customers Only)
In accordance with EU law, unopened and unused non-hygienic items (such as ceramics, accessories, or home objects) may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Return requests must be sent by email to contact@serendipitymuses.com within that timeframe.
Returned goods must be:
Unopened, unused, and in perfect, sellable condition
In original packaging, with all seals, labels, and protective materials intact
If a returned item shows signs of use, damage, wear, or tampering, we reserve the right to:
Refuse the return, or
Deduct a reasonable amount from the refund to cover the loss of value
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
✦ Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@serendipitymuses.com, including clear photographs.
We will assess the situation and offer a fair resolution — replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
✦ International Orders
All international sales (outside the EU) are final.
We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for items shipped outside the European Union.
Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility, unless they have been paid at checkout.
✦ Failed Deliveries
Orders returned to us as undeliverable (customer unreachable, incorrect address, failure to collect) are not eligible for a refund. We are happy to reship the order once it is returned, but the customer is responsible for the new shipping cost.
